Love What You Do Frame

A few weeks ago at my upline's monthly demonstrator meeting Lisa had a great make and take during the meeting! She was wonderful to provide each of us with a great wooden frame. We covered it with our choice of the Share What You Love 12" x 12" Specialty Designer Series Pape. After I stamped the sentiment I coloured the heart in Cherry Cobbler to make it pop! At home I added some Fine Tip Glue to make the heart stand out more.

Creativity Starts Here - Paper Pumpkin!

I love April's Paper Pumpkin! The anchor and lighthouse! My coworker's birthday was the end of April and I made this card for her. Had to create a large enough card so that each person could write a greeting. Last year I created a regular 5.5" x 4.25" card with Whisper White flaps that opened, but this year I created a double card. Each card base was trimmed and then glued together to create the longer card - perfect for our birthday greetings!

Have you tried Paper Pumpkin yet? Now is a perfect time! New subscribers save 50% off their first 2 months! Sign up with me here:https://www.paperpumpkin.com/en-ca/sign-up/?demoid=2157916

April's Crop

Thank you all who participated in our April Crop in support of Partner's in Mission Food Bank, we raised $95.00. Next month we are supporting Relay For Life - details can be found here.

In this month's grab bag was the Bundle With Love Memories & More card pack. For the two projects I designed for our make and takes there is no stamping! The cards and stickers included in the card pack make this projects easy and quick! The blue elephant image on the bottom right pocket is punched from one of the 3x4 cards. This card pack has blue on one side and pink on the other! So the above pocket page can easily be created for a girl instead!

The box below was created using the envelope punch board and instructions were from another demonstrator: Sam Hammond Donald from the UK. We used the beautiful, thick designer series paper that was a Sale-A-Bration item this year. It was the perfect weight for the box but it was a little hard to score properly.

Lisa created the card and 12x12 scrapbook page. Love her card! The patterned paper is one of the 4x6 cards cut down and them stamped with the leaf. She finished off the card with the flamingo, a strip of paper from another of the cards in the pack and a punched greeting.

On her scrapbook page she changed the look of the cards by sponging the Very Vanilla with a blue ink. The Memories & More card packs are so versatile!

May's crop is fast approaching! We will be celebrating International Scrapbooking Day (it is today, May 5th but we are still celebrating!) and it's in support of Relay for Life! Check out the details over on Facebook and we look forward to seeing you there. Deadline for registration is May 14th.

Share What You Love Suite - Early Release!

The first card showcasing products from the Share What You Love Suite early release is from Onstage in London, Ontario last month. It was one of the 4 make and takes they had prepared for us to make! New designer series paper, ribbon, doilies and pearls! It's a hard choice but I like the doilies and pearls the best!

I love that the Wood Textures Designer Series Paper is carrying over to the next catalogue! This paper is perfect for so many projects. For the main watercolour wash and flowers on the piece at the back are stamped off as the Grapefruit Grove ink was too bright at full strength.

Did you have a chance to check out my Facebook party over on From Where I Stamp tonight? If you missed the fun make sure you head over there and like my page. I'll be hosting another Facebook event when the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue goes live on June 1!

And finally check out this video Stampin' Up! made that shows what is in each bundle. And if you would like to look at the products head over to my online store to view all the new products available now!

GSF Blog Hop - Exciting Times

Very exciting times is our theme for this special Global Stamping Friends Blog Hop! The next few months are filled with new products and new colours! On May 1st Stampin' Up! is releasing a new suite from the new catalogue called Share What You Love Suite. Then on June 1st the new 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue starts!

Today's card feature the Share What You Love stamp set and the Garden Impressions designer series paper. After stamping the flowers in Night of Navy ink, I used an Aquapainter filled with rubbing alcohol to colour in the flowers.
